The Green Shack is an old building built in 1928 and has been grandfathered, therefore can not have any additions without losing it’s status. Current health requirements dictate that every business needs a three compartment sink. We, unfortunately, cannot add an additional sink due to the age of the building and therefore use the two compartment sink for hand washing. However, we do have proper use of hand washing and use gloves for all food prep and service. The violation will continue as long as we remain in this building however it does not compromise the cleanliness of the establishment, hence why we continue to receive a grade of “A”.
